The Internet: A Clear and Present Danger?

Yes the beginning examples do violate our civil liberties. However, the ideas expressed are morally wrong. I do believe child pornography should be illegal in any form. The internet is a scary place but a person should have the right to roam anywhere they like online so that it does not violate our civil liberties. There should be copyright laws on ideas but you have to make sure you present the idea first if you do not what proof would you have to say that the person stole it from you? Internet scams such as the one that was described second in the article should be illegal just like they are off the internet. the article then goes into detail about these issues and the internet. I did find it effective and appropriate to begin the article the way the author did. It grabbed the reader and interested them to read more of her article.
